Manufacturer's Warranty
At Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd, we are committed to the quality of our TrailBit™ products. This manufacturer's warranty explains the voluntary warranty we provide for our products and how to make a warranty claim.

This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under applicable consumer laws, including the Australian Consumer Law and, where applicable, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Coverage
Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd warrants that TrailBit™ products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and intended operating conditions for the applicable warranty period from the original date of purchase.
The applicable warranty periods are:

• TrailBit™ 64GB microSDXC™ Memory Card: Three (3) years

• TrailBit™ Protective Hard Case: One (1) year

• TrailBit™ Carabiner Clip: One (1) year

This manufacturer's warranty applies only to the products listed above and is available to the original purchaser when valid proof of purchase is provided. This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights and remedies under applicable consumer laws, including the Australian Consumer Law and, where applicable, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Eligibility
To make a claim under this manufacturer's warranty, you must:

• be the original purchaser of the product;

• provide valid proof of purchase showing the date and place of purchase; and

• have purchased the product from Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd or an authorised retailer or dealer.

This manufacturer's warranty is not transferable and does not apply to subsequent owners if the product is sold or otherwise transferred during the applicable warranty period.

Remedy
If a defect covered by this manufacturer's warranty is identified during the applicable warranty period, and Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd confirms that the product is defective, we will, at our discretion, replace the affected product or provide another appropriate remedy permitted by law. Replacement products may be new or refurbished products of the same model or, where that model is no longer available, a product of equivalent performance and specification. Any replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period applicable to the original product. The original warranty period is not extended or renewed by the provision of a replacement product. Products returned under this manufacturer's warranty may be inspected and tested to verify the reported defect before a warranty claim is accepted.

What is Not Covered
To the extent permitted by law, this manufacturer's warranty does not apply where:

• the product has been misused, abused, mishandled or subjected to accidental damage;

• the product has been used outside its intended purpose or published operating specifications;

• the product has been improperly installed, stored, maintained or handled;

• the product has been used with incompatible, faulty or modified equipment where this has caused the defect;

• the product has been exposed to operating or storage conditions outside the specified temperature or environmental limits;

• the product has been modified, tampered with or repaired by anyone other than Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd or a person authorised by us;

• the damage or defect results from normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or ordinary ageing;

• the damage results from external causes beyond our reasonable control, including fire, flood, water ingress, lightning, power surges or other natural events; or

• inspection and testing show that the product is not defective.

For the TrailBit™ 64GB microSDXC™ memory card, this warranty also does not cover physical damage, including bent or cracked cards, broken components or damaged electrical contacts.

Hard Case and Carabiner
The TrailBit™ Protective Hard Case and TrailBit™ Carabiner Clip are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and intended operating conditions for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This manufacturer's warranty does not cover cosmetic wear resulting from normal use or damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidental damage or use outside the product's intended purpose. The IP67 rating applies to the TrailBit™ Protective Hard Case only when the case is correctly closed, properly sealed, and free from cracks, punctures or other material damage. The IP67 rating does not apply where the case has been modified, improperly closed, damaged or otherwise compromised. The TrailBit™ Carabiner Clip is supplied solely as a carrying accessory for attaching the protective case to bags, packs or similar equipment. It is not designed, tested or rated for climbing, personal safety, fall protection, lifting, load-bearing or supporting people or valuable equipment.

Data
This manufacturer's warranty applies to the physical product only and does not cover any data stored on the memory card.
You are solely responsible for backing up and maintaining copies of all data stored on the product before use, return, replacement or disposal. To the extent permitted by law, Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd is not responsible for the loss, corruption or recovery of data, or for any costs associated with recovering, recreating or replacing data, arising from the use, failure, inspection, replacement or disposal of the product.

Warranty Claims
TrailBit™ products may be purchased directly from Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd or through authorised retailers and dealers.
To make a claim under this manufacturer's warranty, please contact the place of purchase and provide:

• valid proof of purchase;

• the product; and

• a description of the reported defect.

If you purchased your product from an authorised retailer or dealer, they will assist with the initial assessment of your claim and, where appropriate, liaise with Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd. If you purchased directly from Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd, please contact us at warranty@trailbit.com.au with your proof of purchase and a description of the reported defect. We may request that the product be returned for inspection before a warranty remedy is provided. Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd reserves the right to inspect and test any product returned under this manufacturer's warranty to verify the reported defect.

Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law, you are responsible for the reasonable cost of returning the product for warranty assessment. If your warranty claim is accepted, Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd will bear the reasonable cost of shipping the replacement product to you. Where applicable consumer law requires Outdoor Nation Pty Ltd to bear additional transportation or shipping costs, nothing in this manufacturer's warranty limits those rights.

Your Consumer Rights
This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or, where applicable, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
For Australian consumers, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
